a new friend named Lula

While we were in NY at the National Stationery Show, I met a new friend, Basak, who also has a letterpress card line called Small Square Design (it's really cute stuff, you should check it out!). Basak just happens to have a daughter too. Her name is Lula, and she is about a month and a half older than Dottie. We got together last week but dottie ended up napping through the whole play date (taking after her daddy!?). This week they invited us to the mom's group they are a part of. It has been really hot here so we met at a local park and let the babies play around on blankets. This is a picture of Dottie and her new friend Lula.
