Dorothy Mae Murphy Mortimore was born this morning at 6:06. At 9 lb. 1 oz. and 21", she gave us a little fright, when she refused to be pushed out. After a grueling 24 hours of labor, Dottie joined us via c-section. As you can see, mom and baby are happy and healthy.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now the hard work really begins ;-)
BTW - is it 'Dorthy' (as in the blog post) or 'Dorothy'? I only ask because these things, y'know, kinda matter... :-)

What a beautiful little girl and a great name! My grandmother was Dottie (Dorothy). I always have considered it a possible name if I ever have a daughter. Great great name. Congratulations! Glad everyone is doing well.
SHE IS PRECIOUS! She looks a lot like her mommy, but we see Chuck there, too! What a doll! We can't wait to meet her! Love you guys!

Hey Pat - you're right! I was in such a hurry I spelled her name wrong on the posting. How embarassing!
