Meet Dottie...

Dorothy Mae Murphy Mortimore was born this morning at 6:06. At 9 lb. 1 oz. and 21", she gave us a little fright, when she refused to be pushed out. After a grueling 24 hours of labor, Dottie joined us via c-section. As you can see, mom and baby are happy and healthy.

Almost there....

1:15 AM - Mara has made it to 9 cm! Tired, but smiling. 1 more hour until she starts pushing....

We're getting close!

Mara's water just broke - should be sometime tonight! Mara says: "It's not as fun as that picture makes it look," but she and baby are happy and healthy. Wish us luck!

Mara and I have checked into the hospital...and we got the best room in the house!

mara and i went for a non-stress test this morning. she got hooked up to the telemetry and they recorded this contraction!

no labor yet though....

still nothin'

two days past the due date and still nothing! i am thinking this little munchkin is going to make a pretty late entrance into this world but who knows, it could happen at any moment, right? chuck's co-workers threw him a surprise shower at work yesterday which was as sweet as can be. one of his gifts was this pair of cute as can be pink vans.... like father like daughter.
