wednesday we flew out to pittsburgh to see family and then up to toronto to see more family. in toronto she is lucky enough to meet one of her namesakes, her great grandmother dorothy...
we went out for a walk this afternoon with dottie facing out in the baby bjorn for the first time. she thought it was pretty cool but got sleepy at the end.
this was a bonnet that mara wore when she was a baby. we tried it out on dottie today in honor of easter and it fit perfectly(for the 2 minutes she let us keep it on her).
dottie is now fitting into 3-6 month clothes so we are having fun putting some things on her that have been waiting for her to grow into them. check out this cute little number from her aunt julie, uncle thomas, ellis, and sadie grey.
every morning when we go in to rescue dottie from her crib, she looks up at us and gives us a huge smile. then, because she is swaddled all night, she has a HUGE stretch. it is so cute we just had to share it.
a bunch of us got together at anna's to have lasagna and gab. siena and marie came over to visit from berkeley and our good friend allison was in town visiting from nyc. this picture is a group shot of friends i made working at paper source...and their kids of course!
dottie and i went to go for a walk with tray and isa today and had a great time! we did a little photo shoot before the walk and the pictures are hilarious. isa is a little over a month older than dottie. it is just amazing to see the difference a month makes with how isa interacts. i am looking forward to all of dottie's new developments to come...
The car puts her right to sleep! We took this picture because she was sleeping in her carseat we thought she looked pretty darn cute. The dress is courtesy of Aunt Julie and the hat is courtesy of her parents.
