christmas, huge, no baby yet

we had a great christmas together but still no baby. feeling pretty darn huge! it's crazy to think that we could go 2 weeks over the due date which means this little munchkin might not come along for another 3 weeks. YIKES!!!

milo is testing out the baby equipment!

We got the cutest moses basket from my brother, Julie and the kids for Christmas! Before washing the linens, we decided Milo better do a test run. Good times humiliating the dog!

chuck is nesting!

we are busy moving back into our house after nine long months of construction. last night chuck jumped right into the baby stuff and assembled the crib. it is adorable! we are still waiting for the sheets and such so will post a picture of the nursery when it is completed. the beast (milo) was a little confused about the whole thing i think. he kept on trying to get in the middle of the crib when it was on the floor. he is in for a big surprise in the very near future!

Just in case...

Chuck and I were invited to attend an infant CPR class at our friends' Nick and Marie's house. We practiced on fake babies and now, just so you know, if you are ever around us with your kids, we can hopefully save your choking baby. Always a good thing to know!

baby m's shower!

last saturday, our friends erin, anna, allie, and penny threw a shower for me at penny's house. the details were amazing and the whole day was just as fun as can be! i was also lucky enough to have my mom and chuck's mom come in for the affair. one of the biggest surprises of the day was seeing the quilt squares on display that friends had sent in. each invitee was sent fabric and a told to sew a bird onto their square. everyone initialed their square to identify who had made. it is so adorable i feel like it could even end up hanging on the wall. i can't wait until it is all sewn together! check out pictures from the shower here. we got so spoiled rotten with gifts galore too! one thing was cuter than the next. this baby is going to be one stylish child thanks to all of our friends and family!

sloppy joe's anyone?

chuck, milo, and i attended scott and jennifer's annual halloween party last night dressed as school lunch ladies. milo's hair net and apron didn't last long on him so we didn't get a good pic. the sloppy joe's and tater tots were a hit!

Beast snuggling up to the belly...

Not the greatest picture at all but I think it's pretty darn cute that Beast is interested in snuggling up to the expanding belly while I am computing. He has no idea how much his life is going to change in about 2 1/2 months!

How cute is this outfit!

We spotted this on a little girl at the wedding we attended over the weekend and Chuck and I went out to get it on Sunday. Too cute. Chuck is a sucker for the cute clothes too. This little girl already has a pretty large (and growing) wardrobe. Lucky girl!
